AC/DC Tribute Band HIGHWAY TO HELL To Film Live DVD
August 23, 2007AC/DC tribute band HIGHWAY TO HELL will film its September 8, 2007 concert at Jannus Landing in St. Petersburg, Florida for an upcoming DVD.
HIGHWAY TO HELL has supported such metal acts as MCBRAIN DAMAGE, FIREHOUSE, LILLIAN AXE, POISON, PAPA ROACH, SEBASTIAN BACH, CINDERELLA, and GUN AND ROSES, to name a few.
Rodney Vincent originally formed HIGHWAY TO HELL in 2004 after a successful six-year run with HIGH VOLTAGE, a U.K. AC/DC tribute band. HIGHWAY TO HELL also features Welsh vocalist Martyn Jenkins, who fronted the well-known U.K. QUEEN tribute A NIGHT AT THE OPERA. Jenkins is featured on the QUEEN tribute CD sanctioned by the official QUEEN International Fan Club, and he opened for members of QUEEN in Europe. Martyn successfully re-creates the vocal intensity of both Brian Johnson and Bon Scott.
